Effective Learning for the Dentist

“Want to Help Patients with Headaches and TMD Pain?"

Since all dentists have patients come in from time-to-time complaining of jaw pain or headaches, it makes sense to look at this issue dispassionately and plan a way to help them, rather than pulling out your hair and running for the nearest exit when you see them on the schedule.

I am bringing together two great dentists who have been studying this issue for many years and who are able to bring much needed relief to those patients - and actually get paid for their expertise.

This is a special invitation meeting for dentists only.  I'm sorry not to include wives and team members for this one, but since it will be held in my office, there is absolutely no extra room.  Of course, spouses are welcome to come and enjoy our evening reception and dinner on Friday evening.

Dates

The meeting will be on Friday and Saturday, October 2-3, 2015.  We will begin both mornings at 8:00.   Friday will go to about 4:30.

Lunch will be served both days.

Friday evening will be a wine and appetizer reception from 5:30 - 7:00 at the Coker's home and then dinner at the Cascades Golf Club afterwards.

Saturday will conclude about 3:00 or whenever we get tired of talking.

Speakers

I have two very knowledgeable dentists coming to Tyler to teach us:

  • Dr. Robert Kerstein, a prosthodontist from Boston.  In 1984, Dr. Kerstein began studying the original T Scan I technology, and has since that time, also studied the T-Scan II, the T-Scan III with Turbo Recording, and presently the T-Scan 8 technology.  Dr. Kerstein has conducted original research regarding the role that occlusion and lengthy Disclusion Time plays in the etiology of Chronic Myofascial Pain Dysfunction Syndrome. His now 30 years of work with the T Scan III Occlusal Analysis System has led to his becoming a leading author and researcher in the field of Computerized Occlusal Analysis.

  • Dr. Ben Sutter, a dentist from Eugene, OR.  Dr. Sutter has been studying and treating TMJ dysfunction since going into private practice in 2008. In that time, he has sought advanced education and training in treating neuromuscular issues. His studies have taken him to the Las Vegas Institute, and the Piper Education and Research Center, as well as becoming Perfect Bite Doctor certified.
